"Biggest loser" 2011 anyone?

If you are like me we have more to lose than them so if we lose a lot the percentage is in our favor

From your sig pics I had mistaken you for an Ethiopian famine victim. . ;)

Simply having more to lose doesn't necessarily make it easy to lose. I mean heck I've been collecting this all my life, and have fat cells with some really serious seniority. . . :-/

I need to lose at least 70 lb. will get on the bicycle when it warms up and try to ride most of it off . I did this in 2005 I just let it sneak back up on me had a hernia operation 2009 and quit riding and with out exercise diet will not work also drink lots of water 8 to 10 8 oz a day. We all need to lose what we want to and see how this turns out

I'm thinking that if we all lose the weight we expect to, the earth will turn faster.

Depends... with the big brains saying that the north pole is migrating, I hope we spread the loss out north to south a bit. Should we nearest the equator lose too much, the inertia drop could have catastrophic consequences.
On the other hand, the energy saved and reduced greenhouse gas production brought about by lighter riders having longer lasting Nomad tires could save the life of a glacier or two. . .

Since we are all in a relatively small portion of the northern hemisphere, I would think the earth's spinning will become decidedly eccentric-- what about re-positioning a Rocky Mountain or two to the other side of the earth, perhaps a boulder each week?

Or can a couple (very) large cans of Dynabeads beneath earth's crust do the job? In any case, I guess we should let the UN know what's coming, so it can budget properly.

:)

"Biggest loser" 2011 anyone?

I just read this thread for the first time. You guys have motivated me.

I was in pretty good shape before Thanksgiving but I decided to find out how many fat grams I could eat before the New Year.

I will throw my hat in the ring and start today. I am 206. I would like to get down to 185 (10%) by April 1. That is pretty aggressive but I can gain and lose pretty fast. Not the right way.

My wife and I would eat ice cream most nights, she has now switched us over to home made smoothies (fruit and plain yogurt in a blender) that are actaully pretty good and satisfy my sweet craving late at night. Now if I can find a healthy substitute for my salt cravings.

Those people on Biggest Loser are amazing. I figure if they can lose 50% of their weight I can do my 10%.

I think the secret is to not hit the recliner right after work, stop by the gym first and make sure I am done eating by 7pm.....yeah that will happen. :)

Good luck everyone.

I must be giving everyone a head start. I did lose find pouds but that was only weight I gained. I started at 205 gained up to 210 and now back at 205. That is progress for sure.

Here is the recipe for my wife's smoothies that I like to satisfy my nightly craving for a sweet dessert. Please don't tell anyone we are exchanging recipes instead of talking Nomads.

1 cup frozen strawberries
1 cup frozen blueberries
1 cup frozen mango
3 tablespoons low fat plain yogurt
1 cup apple juice

Stick in all in a blender until smooth and drink up!

OK, I wont tell.

Strawberry Banana Smoothies

1 cup strawberries
1 cup banana
1 can Bacardi Pina Colada Mix
Blend
Enjoy.

Fresh fruit cut small then bagged in the proper amounts and stored in the freezer makes this a quick "throw together" recipe.

So what kind of blender oil do y'all use?
