Okay, just going on a hunch based on one of your quotes in your post here. Word for word that I learned while in his employ.

I saw AL Sharpton dreaming on Fox with Bill, and latter i saw the black woman at the Tea party HOLDING out FLAG, and 0 problems.

As usual Al Sharpton is nothing buy a liar and a gangster if you ask me. I can't stand the sight of that man.

NO Violence has occured at one Tea Party so far as I can tell, but I don't expect it to remain that way. The LEFT will 'make sure' of that.

There is no way to ID who is at such an event, and a any fool can claim to be one of them and yet not be at all. If they do I might just 'go' democrate at one of their gatherings...

Crime in the US is concentrated in certain small areas. But the average is given for the whole area. Outside of those areas it's mush safer than in a good neigborhood somewhere in London (based on personal observation). Ohh, that's right, police in UK don't carry guns. I bet they all have long legs and can run fast. What do they carry? Slingshots like some mexican policeman? What happens if someone jumps on them with a knife? They just spank him or talk him to death?
Back to the US. Look up crime rates in Washington DC. It's much much higher than anywhere else in the US. Them must have very loose gun control laws! I mean, what else could cause it?
Take the guns away and there will be happiness and peace, right? Look up gun laws in Washington DC. Gun laws in DC are the most restrictive in the US. You can't even legally own a pistol much less carry it concealed.
DC criminals must have a hard time understanding laws because they had crappy childhood and were discriminated against by the lucky ones who's parents worked for a living. Now they are trying to take back what was stolen from them. After all they need money to feed their starving children. Right? [sarcasm off]
Look at some other states where people carry consealed. It makes criminal's job so much harder and dangerous!

I'll repeat again. US is the safest society mostly due to lawful gun ownership and self defence, castle doctrine laws.
People have a choice of what to do with their life. You can become a billionaire or a bum. All people are created equal but I don't think they should end up equal. But it's a topic for another discussion.

@ MACMAC – thanks…

Wikipedia, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...by_murder_rate which is not a 100% reliable source does quote the following murder rates for most if not all countries in the world for the years 2000-2008, with not all years provided.
USA 5.4 murders per 100,000 people
Canada 1.83
Germany 0.88
UK 2.03
Denmark 0.88
Mexico 10
Hong Kong 0.49
South Africa 37
Russia 14.9
Japan 0.44
Kenya 5.72
N. Ireland 2.48
Scotland 2.13
France 1.59
Austria 0.73
Australia 1.2

Understand, not all of the murders were committed by guns, but the numbers of interesting.

I then jump to FBI statistics for 2008 http://www.fbi.gov/ucr/cius2008/data/table_20.html and it shows that in 2008, with few exceptions, most murders in the 50 states (for some reason a couple of states are not listed, Florida for example) over 50% of deaths were caused by firearms.

Lastly, for those of you who insist on going armed, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun_law...%28by_state%29 is a link for the various gun laws in the U.S.

I do believe that the above stats show that the US is a violent society and that weak guns laws are very much a part of the problem. Yes, weak enforcement perhaps, but I would like to give our men and women on the thin blue line more credit than that…they lay their lives on the line every day because of that 10% I spoke about previously.

As I said, this is my final on this issue. Be safe, ride safe and enjoy the coming season. Ken
