Rode 11 miles today... on my mountain bike. Did it in less time than last Saturday's 10 mile jaunt, and with fewer "oh God, I think I am going to die!" rest breaks. Good thing we got out there at 7 before the heat got ridiculous.

102 degree heat at time to come in to work this afternoon made me choose air conditioning over two wheeled freedom. Supposed to be at least 100 here for the next week, so odometer increases arent likely til the heat breaks.

Rode to Ddillard, GA for lunch and dodged the rain all the way back.
Some rain is OK.
I was kewl riding through Newfound Gap in the cold fog and light rain.

Cruised in from Lake Travis ,Texas to Austin,Texas via hwy 620 and 2222. Then went Balconies to Scenic Dr on to Lake Austin Blvd. After a stop in town around Lake Austin I headed South and then made the loop back on Southwest Parkway to HWY 71 on to Hwy 620 and then home. Just under 90 miles it was the first day it was actually cool. You can check my trip out of course. Looking forward to the weekend to ride if as a friend of mine says if I get a kitchen pass. =r=

Did the commute to and from work for 18 miles. Then did a ride to get gas and a loaf of bread. Total miles for the day is about 25 miles.

Rode to get a prescription for my wife, a little less than 5 miles total for the day.

Went to see my daughter and rode out to the country side for about 161 miles. Beautiful day and nice short visit with my daughter and her partner.

Got the bike out on the road for the first time in about 2 weeks. Only 30 miles but it was good being out.

That's a lot of miles Joel. And I only rode 20 miles today. Would take me many days to get to your total.
