I didn't know Don myself either but from the wide spread responses I can tell he left behind a lot of long lasting memories on this forum and on the road. R.I.P Don and godspeed. Prayers go out to the family and all who ride. This is exactly why I say a prayer before I leave for work every morning when I ride my bike. Since Ive been riding I always look out for bikes and have the utmost respect for them.

RIP Don. Not sure if everybody thinks the same but I have made clear in my will not to be connected to any life support equipment (due to accidents, stroke, etc). Don made his decision consciously which is very brave.

I only met Don for one rally in Arkansas. Just the little I knew of this proud man gives me the feeling that he didn't want to be a burden to his family. You have to respect a guy like Don. RIP my friend.
