We did the Dragon also, its not a bad road at all. I think its hyped up more than it really is, pretty good road unless you really start going fast.

Peoples perspective of difficult sure can vary from person to person. I remember when we were at the National in Custer and we rode the....... needles? Those of you who were there no where I'm talking about. We rode through the huge rock......Someone help me here.
I was told "....be careful because it's pretty challenging...." When we had finished I was shocked that I rode this very challenging road. I said to "midge"..."I think we missed it Brian". I guess because we come from BC and have the mountains and the roads can be a challenge here. I recall a couple of members being kind of intimidated by the roads around Custer.

Returned home from the Rally got in about 600 miles on the nomad in about 4 days

Hadn't ridden in 2 days so told the wife I was going for a ride. Rode down the view the Tennessee River at Guntersville and then back home. Total miles for the day, 32.

After my 16 hour ride Friday I took Saturday off; but Sunday rode with my local chapter of SCRC and did about 250KLM. Great weather and super nice ride to the Minonite village of St. Jacobs for lunch.

Did the 18 mile round trip to work and then added 17 more miles after I got home. Total for the day, 35 miles.

Did the round trip to work, 18 miles. About 2 hours after I got home and the bike put away the bottom fell out. It has rained on and off all afternoon. Had some wind and very heavy rain. We need the rain as it has been dry. No more riding for me today.

Rode home today from my aunts funeral. Rode thru the wind, rain, cold. Did I mention wind. Was bucking 40+ mph winds that were a crossing head wind.

Rode out to visit a friend who bought a Yuro, a Russian motorcycle with a side
car. This bike has a drive shaft that leaves the bikes rear wheel & powers the side car's wheel. The motor is a 750 OHV Air-cooled, 4 cycle, opposed twin cylinder. By the time I got back home, did about 245 miles....:)

Not sure how far, but it was nice to get out and ride the rural areas. Stopped, had a beer and made plans with a friend to go riding maybe Thursday. Great day.!!!

Rode about 30 miles to a lunch meeting with our team doctors, then to the dealership to complain about my HJC helmet that is toast after 2 1/2 months.
