My Goodness Sam! I hate to hear this. Friends are brothers or sisters we pick to be kin to after we're born. You don't realize that you loved 'em so much when they go. I'm very sorry about this.
It's a balmy warm 35F this morning when compared to mornings earlier in the week. I got about four more days to enjoy above freezing temps before it gets nasty again.  .......And more friggin snows in the forecast  !

Sorry to hear this sad news about your freind Sam.
Cold up north today, about 5f and it was windy all night. Nice by the woodstove, kinda makes it hard to get moving and get the day underway. Guess I'll have another coffee first.

Very Grey..High Wind...Raining -a lot..dragged my old bone's off to the memorial service for my old friend "Rob"...was 71 yrs old..had a triple by-pass surgery..Doc told him to get some excersise..so would walk around the block ever evening !
He got mugged my 4 thugs..they took his watch, his cell phone, and aprox. $71..then when they tried to take the ring his dad had givin him..he refused..they knocked him down and one of them kicked him in the back....damaged the by-pass some how...he died suddenly a few days later ! Had a pretty big crowd..and lots of good stories about Rob...He had -also been- a professional country music singer and drummer Tomarrow more rain...but we need it ! Guess I'll go over to youtube..and bring up Hank JR..singing "A Country Boy Can Survive"
