A little knowledge turns a lot of newbies into know it all assholes. Until you've made this repair in the double digits, keep your opinion to yourself. You will NEVER get another response from me. I sure miss the 'ban and clean' button I used to have before we did away with the leadership.

(Until you've made this repair in the double digits.) Not wanting to get in the middle of this. But in fairness mate. You have not explained how to get that bearing out, without risking shit going into the engine. Is there a special tool.?

![]() If you can't keep your mouth shut until you learn a little more about who's who in a new (to you) forum by lurking for a while - then we're certainly not going to miss you when you're gone. My guess is that'll be very soon. ![]()

Let me just say this to a lot of the Newbee's….
Yes, you might have ridden for 40+ years like I have, but until you've had a few years of 'Nomad Experience', you can do a lot of harm telling folks certain things. As a Certified Harley Dealership Mechanic (35+ years experience, I try not to show my age, ![]() When the older guys (wrenches) around this site say you need to listen up, only a damn fool would ignore their advice. If its not known by you, its best to keep your mouth shut, before you say something that could screw someone elses bike up....
