How many miles on YOUR bike

They say high levels of exercise produces a lot of heat. I guess shoveling a lot of BS does also. :)

How many miles on YOUR bike

Just over 70,000 miles on my 03 from Spring 04 when she came out of the crate to this Aug 1st, 09 when she got totaled in Tennessee. :'( She sat out the Canadian winters (about 5 months a year) from the first salting of the roads to the first really good rain downpour in the spring to wash the salt off the roads. Sure loved riding that bike. Put 81,000 miles on the bike (96 Intruder1400) I owned before the Nomad ... But that took 8 years ;) ... Yeah ... I'm the world's most happily divorced man

Can you tell us a few highlights about what major repairs/rebuilds you have done (if any)?

It must not only be the fastest color but the best built too!

12,600 miles here....but I put 10,000 in the last 15 months...pretty good for the wet & soggy part of the country.
I haven't had what I'd call any major repairs on my bike. New drive-shaft, stators and cam-chain extenders. The engine has never been touched, just add gas, change the oil & filter, replace the battery & tires and ride a lot!

I rode an Iron Butt Saddle Sore 1000 this past Saturday and I was the first bike out and the first bike back in on the Georgia Instate Ride, so I didn't fool around. I kept the speed up and had narry a problem.

Write-up at: http://forums.delphiforums.com/DarkS...ges?msg=1397.1

The Nomad now has over 247k miles. I figure if and when it finally dies, I will have gotten my money's worth. And yeah, I agree, the red/beige's are the best built (LOL).

I see you're still dreaming again. Todd said you have a very tiny shovel. Sorry, you're bf has been talking again.

Just rolled 40k on my '05 and she still runs strong!

How many miles on YOUR bike

Thought I had already posted on this thread, but obviously not. I purchased my '08 black Nomad, new 4-1-09 with 0 miles on it and now 6 months and 3 days later I have just over 6600. At that rate I will be riding 12,000 miles per year. So far, so good, no problems at all and still loving the bike as much if not more than the day I bought it.
