Good Morning; 20 and clear. I hope the pipes didn't freeze in the garage overnight. The temp dropped pretty good the past few hours.

Mornin' 22 F
Sitting at kitchen table having breakfast this mourning while watching birds, turkeys and squirrels devour the feed I put out for them.
All of a sudden a hawk swoops in and tries to grab a red squirrel off the ground.
Red saw him just in time to dart around the tree , the hawk waited in a tree near by for 30 min. but the squirrel was not taking any chances.
The hawk got tired of waiting and flew off to look for an easier meal.
Kinda neat to watch

Lar, I let the squirrels live as long as they just clean up the stuff on the ground the birds drop.
If the get on the feeders they get lead poisoning.

Good morning 34* dark, could get up to 50* today with some rain.

I catch the red squirrels in a hav-a-heart trap, then let them loose at the local
nursing home. Every window has a feeder, plenty for them to eat, and they
keep the captives happy. Have a good day!

Good morning 40* cloudy, should clear up today and reach into the high 30's?
At looking out the window this morning, I noticed that the snow is all gone. It
must have been warm all night. I saw the 'Finding Bigfoot' show did a show in
Vt. and the guy they talked to had a photo of a big hairy blob bent over. They
think it is a photo of a mother with a baby under her as she is squatted down
eating apples and leaves. The action is getting closer to me!
