I don't know how I miss these threads............... I'm so sorry for the family of Mr Gary Pruitt. I pray the Lord will ease you during your time of mourning. Just the little bit I know about Gary from Trip's brief statement, his accomplishments leads me to believe that he lead an exciting, and fulfilling life, that anyone would admire, with no regrets other than leaving his family too soon at the end. The only reason for that is the Lord was ready for him to come home. I'm sure he missed Gary just as his family dose now.

I wish I could have known Gary.

FM man killed in motorcycle accident
Thursday, 02 June 2011 11:01
A Flower Mound man was killed after his motorcycle crashed into a car on FM 2499 Tuesday night.

Police said that Gary Wayne Truitt, 63, of Flower Mound was riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle southbound on FM 2499 near Target around 9:38 p.m., when a Volkswagen Beetle, driven by Chelsie Sechovec, 21, of Denton pulled out into his path from a retail driveway.

The motorcycle struck the Beetle, ejecting Truitt.

Truitt was transported to Flower Mound Presbyterian Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 10:06 p.m.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.

I always fear the animals coming from the woods to cross the highway. But it is usually someone in a car/truck that cause most accidents. The states need to get after their licensing programs, to make everyone safer.
