Hang in there Dan! Three to go. P.S. It's never been recorded that there were any deaths attributed to eating the hospital food. Of course that doesn't make the food any better. I think it must go out to the low bidder. At the prices it costs to be in the hospital they should serve fillet mignon!

Morning Dan.I see no one bothered you last night. Well, maybe the nurses. I am going to visit one of my Vulcan buddies today. V2K, he is in the hospital getting over a bout of pneumonia.I'll drop by later.

Hey Bud...I'm finally getting to check on the forum...wanted to see if you're doing ok!! I would have thought by now, you would have bored the nurses to death w/ talks about flying Nomads and they would have gotten you some real food!!! If I could mail you some BBQ I would.... but I'm afraid after the trip, it would end up resembling the hospital food!! LOL!

Breakfast was good, the can make omelets and cut up fruit pretty good, the rest of the day they aren't so good.

The nurses ask me what I'm doing on the computer and sometimes and I show them this thread. They liked the nurse posting about doctors, and the rectal thermometer joke.

One other thing, just for sympathy......It's hard to sleep all wired up, and every morning at 5:30 am they come and take my blood pressure. The lady gets off shift at 6:00am. Bastards!

For my next five day vacation, I'm checking into a different resort :)

Don't you just hate the constant wake ups to check on you? I had to do something similar a couple years ago...Just when I'd get to the part were the girl was about to give in, bam, they'd wake me up. :)

yea...I hear ya Dan... what always got me was when they would come in and wake me up to give me a sleeping pill....???? Guess that goes back to the common sense thing again.... I did finally threaten one nurse though...told her if they wake me up to give me a sleeping pill again, I'm going t hit them w/ a bed pan.... Not sure why...but she sure as hell didn't seem to care. Prolly cause she out weighed me by 50 lbs!!
