I don't know if it would get better mileage. The C14 doesn't do any better and it's a lighter and more aerodynamic bike. It's also a shitload quicker and faster.

So is my RT. It's design dates back to 1923. The difference is that it has true oil cooling, 4 valves per cylinder, 12:1 compression, a real closed loop engine management system that allows it to run on 89 octane. It makes 110hp from 1170ccs. Not bad for a twin that gets in the mid 40's in mileage with my huge ass on it and yet the bike only weighs 570 (it has a load capacity of 520lbs) with a full tank of gas, which by the way is 7.1 gallons. 20th century indeed.

Does that boxer type engine have pushrods, or a chain drive primary? Apples and oranges.

No pushrods anymore, never had a primary drive. To my point, a chevy v-8 still has pushrods and two valves per cylinder. It's not apples and oranges in that HD and BMW have improved their offerings over the years while maintaining an aesthetic that is true to their founding. I like both Victory and HD, but when it comes to aesthetics, HD has them beat. I hope Indian delivers on promise without the exorbitant price so as to give some competition to those where TOMA counts. When someone says american motorcycle, they don't think of Victory. If I wasn't right, they wouldn't have bought Indian.

Lets see, Victory has only been around for 15 years and has more American manufactured parts than a Harley Davidson and has a FAR superior engine. And if you knew half as much as you think you do you would know that Victory did not buy Indian Motorcycles, Polaris did.
I guess it is only the ignorant or uninformed that only think of Harley Davidson or Indian when speaking of American Motorcycles.

Insulting me will not get you anywhere. If you drink the Kool-Aid, fine. I don't unnecessarily defend any particular brand. They all have their worts and acne. What you fail to understand is that it doesn't matter what is better on paper or in praxis, it's what people believe. Beliefs are what sells anything, whether it's motorcycles, alcohol or religion. You could give 1000 reasons why Victory is a better bike and it won't matter to someone that believes otherwise. It's just the way human nature is. Lastly, there's little victory in cutting down something or someone else to elevate yourself, no pun intended.

I think that one was three threads ago. If I'm not mistaken on this one he wanted to know if, before proceeding with implants, the Polaris make his Man Boobs look big enough.
