I arrived at the Alpine shortly after 5pm Saturday. Another hot day of 96 degrees and above from Thermopolis on north. I was hoping the heat would stay in Arizona. After checking in I went through the list.
1. Unload the bike. 2. Go shopping for beverages. I put some in the refrigerator in room 103. 3. Returning from shopping found Wanderer in the parking lot, he got here a day early. 4. We had a cold one and sat outside talking as it cooled down. 5. Really meant to iron my shirts tonight and never got around to it. Sorry Brad I just couldn't resist. 6. Suppose I should clean the bugs off the bike in the morning. Hope everybody arrives safely.

Hope you have all been having great and safe rides. Ruth and I thought we might be able to squeeze in a quick ride to Red Lodge but between surprise guests and prepping (which has taken on a life of it's own) for the ride to the NE/Eastern Canada rally it just didn't work out. Hope you enjoyed Chief Joseph highway.
