That's not dirt on Larry's bike. It's pollen.

Good run Dave. We had a great time at Crater Lake and Diamond Lake today. It was beautiful. Only did about 300 yesterday.

Good on ya, Dave! I pussed out. Didn't want to ride for 6 hours in 110 degrees. Did some sightseeing in Bodie and Mono lake before stopping in Tonopah. Started at 5 this morning and froze between Tonopah and Beatty. Once the sun came up it got toasty real quick. "Hauled the mail" and got to Vegas about 7:30. Ride safe.

500 miles today and the last 150+ in 100+ temps. Stopped at the Border Inn for a break and drink and a guy on a Goldwing heading west said it was 104 closer to Delta where we stopped.

Not good Joel. You guys stay hydrated and finish safe.

We got home about half an hour ago.

Weather was perfect the whole trip. Thanks for ordering that up Brad.

We started to stop about every 50 or 60 miles at that point. Drink some water for 5 minutes and go. Slowed us up but better safe than sorry.

Great timing. It was still decent at 7:30 this morning. It's going to be 112 later today.

Do I hate right now. Went thru Grand Junction at 103*. Been warm to hot since Salina. Only 90 more miles to Avon and the mountains. Stopping to drink and wet down is slowing us up.

Got home at 2pm. Dave, Marie and I left at 5am. It was 46 and dropped to 39 in Bridgeport. We froze even with heated grips and seat. Was 80 in Bishop, 90 in Lone Pine at 9am and 105 in Mojave at noon. 9 hours total. 490 miles.
