How cold is too cold?

I normally ride all year long. The temperature won't stop me but snow and ice or wet salted roads will. I've ridden when it has been as cold as 10 degrees and I have about a 15 mile commute to get to work. Last year the longest my bike set was just over a two week period. The rain doesn't stop me from riding either.

Commuting to work, I'll ride if the temp is supposed to rise into the 40's, starting out temp hasn't stopped me though the cold/wet road (possible black ice) conditions will.

No electric gear. 35 to 40 is good on the highway. In town anything above 17 is just ducky as long as the roads are clear. Yes, that is farenheit.

The coldest I have ridden in is 23˚, and that was 15 miles each way with speeds up to 75. If it's around freezing or higher and the roads are clear, I will take it out.

Question isn't how cold does it get in your state, it's how cold is too cold to ride!
Coldest 21*. Wife rode with me on the toy run at 27*. When we got to Fredericksburg she was a popsicle. She forgot to put the liner in her jacket. . A quick trip to WalMart solved that and she was comfy the rest of the day. With guard chaps and proper clothing I don't know what the limits are now but If your game I'm game. You first though. That way I can just stop when you fall down. Come on down next summer for a nice warm ride.
