OK, I didn't want to start no big NorCal/SoCal thing here.
You all have my apologies and my best wishes. My only real "problem" with SoCal is that I really do not like big cities. I am overwhelmed by all the traffic etc. |

Cad, I'm not destined to live in so cal forever either. That's one of my missions on the Mesquite ride. I have a very good friend in St. George that wants me to look a property. Your are 100% right that big cities suck; however, where we live in so cal in one hour's ride we can be in the snow in the local mountains or at the sunny beach on the coast or in the desert. Except for the unbelieveable idiots that live hear, we are second to none in variety of topography. Makes riding tolerable.

BTW, I just figured my gas mileage. 45 miles of slow city driving, 131 miles of 70ish on the highway. Gas light finally came on on the way to work this morning right in front of the 76 station. 176 total miles on tank. 4.503 to fill halfway up the filler neck. 39.09 mpg average. .8 gallons left with light comes on. I gotta remember to stop like right now when the light comes on!!

38.68 overall gas mileage at about 80ish BRAD. I don't think we did 70 when we followed a truck.
Not bad for having the mods on there. |

You have nomaditis visualis. It's treatable. The Nomad halucinations will stop after you get home. Double dose of beer is in order. |
