would not doubt him just seeing if a Senior discount would give a better price have a Choice membership the rally motel is a member.

I checked the price using my AMA discount, and it was $130. So I agree, Trip got us a good discount.

Made my reservations for Monday to the Friday. 3 days ride out there on backroads. Hopefully some nice scenery.

I also noticed that there are no STRUCTURED rides for any of the 3 days. Is that because this is still in the planning stages?

All rides will be SELF-GUIDED this time Rhys. Keep an eye on the Rally page.

Glad you guys noticed, especially after BD's remark about the room rate being high. I realize that's just BD blowing gas, but it took a while to arrange everything with the hotel. Staying at a hotel in Estes Park is not a cheap affair compared to other places. Also, I was able to negotiate a welcome dinner on Monday evening that is free to all attendees. At the last National everyone paid for a welcome dinner.

Sometimes, you guys just don't know how good you've got it.

I get it. We had that same problem in Canmore for the Canadian Rockies Rally. The location was/is a big tourist draw and lodging in most places there was VERY expensive. We got a place where rooms were either $100 or $120 a night. So....very well done indeed in finding a great spot and getting us some great group rates. Can't wait to roll in there next summer on my new scoot....

Tim I just thought your comment was just typical of your nature, always cautious and careful what you say so as not to offend anyone.

As long as we don't use Todd's GPS to set the route...we would end up in Nova Scoita.
