Nico and Judi - What's the lastest update on you guys?

Nico hows the wife? Is she still in the hospital?

Judi- What about your bike? Ya'll said it was smokin - I was hoping the smoke was just a little spilled oil and/or gas.

Hope all are feeling and getting around better. :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

Hi Unwind.......I'm hobbling around like a drunken sailor with a wooden "peg leg".....LOL....the crutches are more trouble than they're worth. ::) ::) ::)

The tow truck dropped my bike off in Nico's driveway and I haven't seen it yet. Probably check it out today. Hopefully, the damage is just cosmetic - windshield, crash bar, headlight, etc. If the bike is rideable, I'll get a friend to take it to my house - I can't support the weight on my leg yet. Will keep you posted.

Nico, Judi,

I was offline all weekend and just read the post. You two and Sue are in my prayers for healthy, strong recoveries. Nico, any new word on your wife?

You both have to remember that you can't control road conditions, especially things like sand, gravel, dirt, etc. Nico, I know you did your best to keep it upright and Judi, you did your best to stop safely and help.

I'll keep all of you in my prayers and Nico, in my smites.

Good news to hear Nico. Thx for the helmet info too. haven't decided yet for a full helmet or modular full. Is there any wind leaks in the mod.one or pretty tight? You going to buy that suit of armour Nico??

Reminds me of the "Bill Gates wants to share his billions wityou" e-mails that go around every so often. . .

"Trip wants YOU to be riding a Nomad so much, he's GIVING one away!" [insert fast taking voice here]Some assembly required, your actual mileage may vary, not valid on 5th fridays in February, tax title and license are the responsibility of the recipient.

The modular full is tight... no leaks... you can ride with it flipped up or down... pretty nice.

That armor might be overkill.... but this one is light weight (6oz) & doable.. Sue would need to protect those ribs.....

I had reported earlier that I did not hit my head..... well just checked out the skid lid & I sure did... Left side towarrds rear scraped good... held up well!!
