Wishing the best for your Brother there and am sure we all are.
Any of you seen and used this Air Filter Kit for your Vaquero, looks nice, though I really like my Tornado Air Kit, just thought some of you may like to look at this one. http://www.revolutionspeedstore.com/...kit-black.html

Just ordered a PCV and a custom round air kit for the bike
Travis at thunder is making a regular round kit, powder coated black with "103.7ci" in aluminum I imagine it will look something like this cover

There is a picture, but if you see it you have to be put to death.
When you have the mod done you have to sign a declaration of secrecy. Anyone breaking this pledge is also subject to the death penalty.

Those pipes look pretty scraped up already, especially if their off of a year old bike.

Dyno results on my vaquero
I want to share the results i achieved with the mods on my V. The 2 runs shown were performed over a time frame spread of 3 1/2 months of foolin around with this skoot and many stages of modifications. The baseline runs were performed at 1476 miles in May, and the last run (#146) was performed in September with 7736 miles on the skoot. I learned much and had ALOT of fun!!
HERE IS THE H.P. GRAPH...I gained 19.5 H.P. at the peak, with a gain of 16.93 H.P. at 4000 rpm. HERE IS THE TORQUE GRAPH...i gained 22.32 pnds of torque at the peak, with a gain of 20.04 pnds at 3000 rpm. In the near future i'll have the skoot back up on the dyno to document any changes in power and monitor the a/f ratio. Back in December we fixed some pretty bad vacuum leaks on this skoot and as a result i had to do some "seat of the pants" remapping as the engine ended up running rich after the vacuum leaks were resolved. Obviously the last mapping session was performed with some percentage of vacuum leaks so an evaluation of the current a/f ratio is called for, The skoot now has over 17,300 miles on it so i'm curious where this skoot is now. My next mod is to work with a reverse cone at the end of the exhaust. I have to set time aside in my schedule to do some measuring and then machine the cone. I'll have that made before the next dyno session so i can incorporate that into that session. RACNRAY
