Did You Ride Today? Where To and How Far?

Got out and rode to see my dad. Only did about 26 miles but it was spitting rain on the ride home.

Did You Ride Today? Where To and How Far?

Temps were in the mid 50s today so managed a 21 mile ride. Not very far but still very enjoyable. I can't believe it has been 7 days since my last ride.

Did You Ride Today? Where To and How Far?

Managed to get in two short rides today. First one was to Wal-Mart for dog and cat food. Then later went and filled the gas tank. First ride I had my leather jacket and gloves on. Felt pretty good but when I went to get gas I didn't wear jacket or gloves and my hands almost froze. Learned my lesson there.

I wore my jacket and gloves today also, but it was to ride the snowblower up and down the driveway. ;)

Did You Ride Today? Where To and How Far?

Was already 46 and raining when I woke up this morning. Weather is forecast to get worse through the morning with 27 and ice by nightfall. No riding for me today

Did You Ride Today? Where To and How Far?

I got two rides in today although the temp was only 42. Rode only a total of 20 miles for the two trips. Little chilly but was great to be riding. Got a great weekend coming up and hope to ride for the next week as temps will be rising through Thursday.

Our roads are all snow covered around the neighbourhood, and huge piles of snow. No riding here for a bit.

Two feet of snow on the lawn, eight feet high from the plow, and ice and snow on the one mile out of here. Spring brings mud season. It will be a while before I'm riding again.

It's supposed to be 77° here today. I am on call for work so I can't go too far, but you can bet I'll get a ride in.

What sucks worse - having snow and can't ride or gorgeous weather and can't ride because of work? At least if it's snowy nobody else is riding either.

Did You Ride Today? Where To and How Far?

Rode out through the Texas Hill Country (FM 473) and got a sandwich at the Camp Verde General Store (est. 1857) with the Missus. It is a general store/post office that grew up around a military base that housed/used camels.

Sandwich has thick sliced toasted rye bread with grilled turkey & ham, Pepper Jack cheese, grilled onions and garlic pepper jelly cream cheese spread; yummy de-lish, worth the ride.

Headed back North (Old Hiway #9) to Luckenbach, Blanco and back home. Just shy of 200 miles. Temps were running 50°F to 60°F for the day.

Sounds like a great sandwich. Wish I could have been on the ride with you.

Temps here today were around 52 and I rode 20 miles total. Always good to be back in the saddle whether it is 200 or 10 miles.
