The snow is gone from my yard, the bike should be out of the shed in the next couple of days. Maybe even a ride.

Good morning, 44* cloudy headed for 46* and scattered showers.
Have a great day!

41 and cloudy. " Supposed" to hit 60ish. The daffadills and tulips my daughter planted last year are in full bloom outside my door as we speak giving me a peaceful and warm feeling in my soul this morning. Gonna be a great day I hope.

Ringadingh. See the doc and nip that in the bud before it sets in. I just go over one that lasted 3 weeks. Landed me one trip to the doc and another to the hospital. Best of luck to ya bud.

Good morning sunny 46.
Started the bike yesterday but no time to ride yet, Grrr!
Working on refinishing a floor and hunting down the best price on stair treads and railing.

Good Morning; 39 and sunny, I'm still feeling under the weather,my chest is still very tight. Hopefully it will let up by the weekend.
Norm, I found Lowes had the best price on stair treads.

Thanks Steve, no Lowes that close to me, but I will look on line for pricing.
Going the route of covering the existing aspinite tread. Home Depot wants $39 for a tread and riser in a kit and another $5 for the return nosing.
Cheapest I found in oak is Rona. $19.00 a tread no riser and $3.00 for the return nosing. I figure I can reface the riser with door skin plywood which I have plenty of or something similar. Damed if I am going to pay double just to get a 7x42 inch piece of ply with veneer on it.

I think the larger stair tread with a riser is about $26.00 here, it has the bullnose trim on all three edges. The $19.00 kit is narrower and has the bullnose just across the front edge.
I redid our stairs last year after tearing out the carpet that was on them, I had the stain color matched to the flooring by a local paint shop, they matched the color perfectly.

Did you use the same riser and cover the old tread with a new one by cutting the old bullnose off Steve?
