Kuryakyn ISO grips

Anyone happen to have a picture of the sleeve? Maybe I'm thinking this too much (I've been known to do that) or maybe I'm missing something...

Kuryakyn ISO grips

The grip for the Nomad just happens to be the same as the Suzuki Volusia/C50.
When I traded my C50, I removed the Kury grips. I figured I could sell them, but then I found out they were the same for the Nomad, I installed them and they have been on for 2 years, no problems. Easy install.

[quote author=nighthawk700 board=nomad thread=10143 post=170375 time=1239012006]Which grip is supposed to have a sleeve? (Left, right, both?) I just opened up my 6235 to check the parts. The right grip has a plastic like cap at the end (near where the throttle cables go), I assume to make it easier to turn the throttle. The left grip didn't seem to have a tube, unless it's the full rubberish lining that is in the full grip? Nothing separate though. Want to make sure everything is right. I'm having my shop install this and a BreakAway throttle lock later this week. I probably would have no problem with doing the ISO grips, but the directions for the Breakaway leave me scratching my head. Plus with extra training at work, I've been pressed for time lately. Hey Louis,
The sleeve we talk about is on the throttle {right} side. That "cap" as you call it is the top of the sleeve that extends into the grip. It sounds like you got the correct pkg.. The one I first got {#6240} had you sand down the ribs on the stock sleeve and then slide your grip over it. Therefore reusing it. With the one you and I and almost everyone else got has that part done for you. The left side is just the chrome and rubber grip.
I've never done the BreakAway but I hear it isn't the easiest thing you'll do to your bike. But I hear it works well.
Hope this helps explain.

Kuryakyn ISO grips

Got my 6235 ISO grips in today. The right side only took a few minutes to put on then went to do the left and the glue was dried up. I'll get some later tonight and try it out tomorrow.
