Honestly, the highest temperature on record for Phoenix is only 122 degrees, but we could hit 125 with global warming.
Honestly CJ, with the way global warming is going it might be more like 35 and snow. :-*

sarge1057, I have a Grasshopper backrest, made by one of our members. Search for "Grasshopper" or here is his web site. http://www.grasshopperlimited.com/

Very easy to install, can be removed instantly if need be, and is very affordable.

I am running out of room to put the snow. It is 5 feet high on either side of the driveway and 8 feet high on the boulevard at the side of the road. Pulling out of the driveway is hazardous as you cannot see whats coming. Feel better now cactusjack !

Don't worry...one of us will remember to bump this thread in the middle of August when it's 125 degrees and if he were to put a leg over his BLACK bike he'd come away with 2nd degree burns!!! (Just had to throw that in CJ. :) )

Well, you are partially correct, Rich. June is historically the hottest month in these parts, and usually around mid-July the monsoon starts and lasts until mid-September. I ride no matter how hot it gets and yes, I have burned my leg on the gas tank. During the summer, if I don't ride it isn't because of the heat, it's because of the dust storms and torrential rains the monsoon brings.
