I love the looks of the Voyager except the angle of the bags. It look like it's tilted back to me. If the bags top/bottom seam was parallel to the ground to match all the other lines on the bike I think it would look better.
I bet someone just started making an adapter plate to rotate the bags. ;)
Chuckster...you readin this??

i like the look of the new bags better on the voyager then on
the new nomad where i still prefer the older bag style.also my
dealer friend tells me that they are expecting the voyager
price to come in at 17k.

New Voyager vs.

If you look close at the bags the shape is the same as our Nads, the top load is the only differance. I will buy one but am undesided over Nad or voyager. I have owned all 5 generations of goldwings and 1 97 Voyager, I do love the gadgets. Living in Az, full fairing in summer is hot, hot, hot, The Nad is quite nuetral as far as heat is concerned. So I'm leaning toward the Nad.

Not crazy about the fairing. It looks like it goes against the natural flow of the bike---almost like an afterthought.

The Harley is my overall favorite for asthetics.
The Yamaha looks like it has been squeezed from both ends.

Mechanically, I've never ridden the HD or the Yamaha, so I can't comment.

Overall, I'll pass on the new Voyager. I think it will better in 2 years, but then again, I usually think all "new" models--cars or trucks---need about 2-3 years to smooth it out and get it right.

just my .02
