Hey dui546, given your forum name and occupation I'm going to assume that's MILK in those glasses in your new sig pic.
Looks like white for you and strawberry for the Mrs.

Nope...It was the 'good stuff' -- the picture was taken at a Sandals resort in jamaica. I was diving every day so I coudn't enjoy more than a couple of them. Don't get me wrong...I am not an advocate for no alcohol. The folks who attended the Eastern Rally can tell you that I am a social drinker. HOWEVER, where I draw the line is that I do have an extremely low tolerance for those that hurt or kill others by not being able to drink responsibly. Given that, I have no problems in being the one who gets paid for keeping honest people honest.

BigJohn When I was a kid I lived in Lake Stevens. My dad worked for Boeing (sp?) till the layoffs in the early 70's then we moved to Texas. Liveing on the wates was great you could get within walking distance to everthing by boat back then. My dad esed to go to a place called the Hitchen post in Everett.

I really do like the headlight arrangement better than the original VN2k's. I thought that "gattling gun" light was just too odd.

Beautiful bike BigJohn. It didn't take long to get a replacement. If it was me, I'd get it sooner than later and actually enjoy it on you birthday around home.

They are great. I had the chance to take one for a 10 minute ride. the power and throttle responce was amazing. It was truly a sports car that happened to only have two wheels.

thanks for the compliments, guys and dolls. I went with red for two reasons: 1) our helmets are red and I won't have to get new ones to match and 2) red is the fastest color. <G>

I just made flight arrangemetns for Reno. Miss Nancy is going to drive me up to Bellingham for a 8:45 AM el cheapo flight. New scoot whould be in my posession by noon. I'll have lunch/dinner wiht some friends in Reno then hit the road. Should be able to make Klamaith Falls by around sundown.

TexFisher - you're just the opposite of me. I came from Texas (by way of a lot of other places) to get here <G>. Don't know about the Hitchin' Post, sorry. I was in Spokane and cheney in the late '70s and graduated from EWU in '81. I remember the durth of work up here then. That's why I wound up in Salt Lake, Denver, Portland and eventually California. Gotta go where the work is. Long story, needs to be discussed over a bunch of cold beers.

I'm not getting the V2K for high performace reasons. Eventhough it does have plenty of power. I'm getting it to use is as a truck. 145 ft/lb of touque should pull my trailer down the road without lugging the motor.

I will definatly give you guys a review after I get home.
