We are the same but we have 2 small dogs Bobbie & Blossom both are Westies, so i dont think it would be possible to take them both for a ride on the Nomad :( Maybe i should get a trailer for them
cut a hole in each bag for their heads to stick out . Thats what my wife said we should do for ours, I DON'T THINK SO :(" title="" border="0"/>

First ride with wife !!

Would you believe my wife gets P****d if I don't take her along! The fact that the Nomad is by far the most comfortable and secure bike she's been on sells itself! That was the clincher in buying it. Tried the virago's, Ultra Classic etc but my Nomad is great.

First ride with wife !!

Sounds like a lot of us all have similar experiences with the wife.
Terbear... My story is EXACTLY the same. I couldnt decide between that star or the nomad either and it all came down to her liking this back seat better.

As far as one of the original poster's questions go, I have a way that might work for her to get on. I get onfirst and stand the bike up. She stands to the left and just steps straight onto the left passenger beg and uses it as a step to stand on and then bring her right side up and on the bike.

My wife loves doing all the little short trips but complains about the long ones. I am slowing building up her tolerance to take them. Right now about 1.5 hours to destination and then several hours there, then back home. Thats as long as I can get out of her.

My wife took her first ride on our Nomad yesterday. She absolutely loved it. Couldn't be happier. She had trouble adjusting to the bike lean on curves at first. But by the time the ride was over, she was begging for more. ;)
