In Orofino, I tried hooking Scott up to a Tequila IV...might have done him some good...
 ! Seriously, sorry to hear of this my friend...I too am Type II Diabetic. We need to really keep a close eye on our feet, period. Hope you heal up quickly and get back to your old self. I have been battling Sciatica (chronic sciatic nerve issues) for the last several years. It comes and goes several times a year and lasts a week or so every time. I missed two days of work this week because of it. When it flares up...I'm totally crippled...can't walk or even stand up straight. When it calms down...it's like nothing happened....go figure. This getting old business sucks, I do know that....  .As for your dirty bike....here are a few photos of it clean you can enjoy until you can get a wash rag to it.....  !

It ain't right some folks like me can eat herds of red meat, sacks and sacks of cookies, fiddy-five gallon drums of liquor, tanker trailers of beer.  Maybe some day I'll just pop and it'll be over with.  Get better soon!

Just seeing this Scott. Take care of yourself and do your best to get back in shape. I've been working on it on my end. Down 11 pounds in 5 weeks. Goal is to be at 200 by the end of the year. You've already proven you can do it. Get well my friend.

Update
I went back to the office today! I have been working from home since a week after I got out of the hospital. Up to now, I have only been out of the house to go to doctor appointments. Today is the first I have driven since before I left to go to Orofino.
I still have a hole in my foot, but it looks like the infection is gone. I have two more weeks of IV antibiotics left and then I should be released by the infectious diseases doctor and I can get the tacc line (IV tubes in my chest) taken out. The foot doctor has ordered a "wound vac" for me, which is a device that covers the wound area and uses an external pump to create a vacuum pressure over the wound. It is supposed to expedite healing. We'll see.
