Are You a Real Biker?
Im a saddle sore biker, Is that you Beezer sleeping with your bike? When I bought my second bike, a 1961 Jawa CZ, I was about 15-16 y/o. I picked it up in the guys living room, and he lived in an apartment building on the 7th floor! To make things worse the elevator was broken and I had to take it down the stairs to get it home.

Are You a Real Biker?
HehHehHeh...
Reminds me of the time I got a vaccuum leak and holed a piston on the way to college. I snuck my bike up the elevator to the 4th floor room at 1 AM, and tore it down right there. I think a few other residents were offended when I was washing the parts in a pan of gasoline, but unfortunately the windows only opened 6" so dispondant test flunkers wouldn't try to jump. I only started it up a couple seconds in the actual room, though, and I did aim the muffler out the window. A bit. Unfortunately someone finked on me, and I luckily got the bike into the stairwell just as the head resident was coming up the elevator. It was one of those twisty stair wells and a pain to navigate, but thankfully I didn't own a Nomad back then (Yammie 180) and got it out of the building without incident. |

Are You a Real Biker?
I once built a chopper in the spare bedroom of a house we were renting, including cutting, welding and grinding the frame, and painting as well. (The bedroom was not carpeted, and it was rather trashy when we moved in.)
The landlord got a little pi$$ey when he realised I'd been welding inside, with a torch. But as I didn't burn the place down there wasn't too much he could do if he wanted to keep getting his rent. |

Are You a Real Biker?
hardcore biker took it twice
You are a Hardcore Biker You don't need someone telling you what to wear or how to ride. You get out there and make your own path. Riding is a way of life and other brothers in the wind can always count on you to help them out. It is not about the destination for you, it is about the ride, although girls and beer at the destination always make it better. |
