The fork cartridges are different, the mean streak and nomad 1600 use different dust covers and seals. The fork diameters are bigger on the nomad 1600. I don't know for sure, but I think the 1500 nomad has the same type forks as the mean streak (1500 & 1600). Disassembling the forks is different between the 1500 & 1600 nomads (need different tools) but over-all they're pretty close.

I don't know for certain, but would assume they are the same or very similar. Look up the forks on CheapCycleParts and compare a couple part numbers.
