Define Old?? We're mid 60's eligible for Medicare is this old? It's not old to me; long distances have never been my cup of tea. I like to be fresh when going and seeing new places and I have never been able to ride more than 400 miles in a day without being completely exhausted. I have never been able to get use to it. Add the heat and humidity and it worsens the effect.

::) Sounds like the wives are smarter than the men.

I don't see where it's any fun riding Interstates over long distances at any age. Trailering to your destination and saving your energy for riding at the rally where nice roads and beautiful scenery prevail makes more sense than doing hundreds of miles on super slabs then being too tired to enjoy the rides at the rally.

It's getting so you can't even bust balls around here anymore.
For the record, I'm 66 years old. My body considers that old but my mind does not.
If some people have or want to trailer their bikes that is fine with me as long as you get there and have a good time once you are there.
It is not HOW you get there it is THAT you get there.
Geez, I hate it when I have to be serious :(
