haha well yeah i seen your other post. Yeah its a 99 carbed. So here is wat im looking to do if it wont work please let me know. Going to marble the two reed valve tubes. Plug the small tube going to the bottom of the carb? not sure on that one. Cut an aluminum plate place gasket maker on it to create a good seal and then two sheet metal screws to fasten it to the oem back plate.ordered a moroso 8.5 crome air cleaner cover and a 8.5 air filter. Thats were im headed im hoping to not replace the jet in the carb. Is that possible?

I can't help on carbed. I have never seen one to work on.. The one think I can guess is the air cross over tube you cut and removed still has a backing plate opening you must seal off. Your way for that is fine. If marbleing is it, then one in the tube to the vacuum switch that is a pod running air to the reed valves, but over all all of that should go away and be Coastered.
