non motorcycle specific GPS

The RAM mounts are very durable. I've had one with my Garmin 265W for about two years now. Have never had an issue. The neat thing about their setup is when you upgrade your GPS, a new cradle is only about $10 off their site.

Here's what I'm upgrading to next month: https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?cID=134&pID=36082
