Doc must be that global warming hit late up here. Today was 56, and I was working on my cage in shirt sleeves.

That damnned cage is giving my quite the time, but I asked for it, putting a few things off, and lettin it set about. I let that kappen for way too long and a damn mouse built a next inside the timing belt cover.

I knew about the leaky seal on the water pump last Spring, and I knew the last fuel pump relay was shot. I fixed 2 of these with solder maybe 12 times each.

I wasn't expecting to break the timing belt, and something odd is up since I did. I think the belt is marked wrong.

Most belts these days have a stripe at the crank, cam and idler gear which runs my distributor. To get it to run right I have to be 3 teeth off at the idler gear.

I can't seem to find the engine side timing mark on this cage either at the idler gear, so it has been something of a challange..

And I can't say why that is because around 97 I installed the belt myself, just 'because'..

weird.
I have it running pretty well now and the engine is full of straight water for the night.

That will get dumped in the AM, and distilled water with everything free coolant will be installed. Then a oil and filter basics, maybe a test ride, and after the plugs are hot I might check them as I found a set of new plugs in a box I forgot I had. There was a air filter and fuel filter too

MAN u r a OLD FART.. Im a YOUNG 56 lol.... I have no net yet at my new place.. hopefuly in a few weeks... NO friggin cable in the Town,, I have to get High Speed... Yea High speed my butt,, BUTT if it is high speed like a day after a bowl of Chili That would be high speed lol
