But the luggage capacity sucks. That would be the deal killer for me.

This would be on my A list. Love the color!

To give a man a left handed compliment on his new purchase just shows what kind of person you are.
There is a place to gloat and a place to be congratulatory, apparently you do not know the difference. Paul was not gloating, he was lamenting how much he was enjoying his new purchase.

Don't be so "holier-than-thou", Mike. If you actually read the thread rather that reacting to having your chain pulled you will note that:

1. I congratulated Dave.
2. The raving about XCT's was predominantly by other owners.
3.I clearly indicated my comment was intended to be taken tongue-in-cheek with the emoticon.

Take a look in the mirror. I'm not the one acting like a jackass.

Oh yeah, I forgot that if you throw in an emoticon any stupid shit that falls out of your mouth is forgiven, my bad. You have the high road.

Mike, whether you want to believe it or not, my comments were made in jest, except the sincere congratulations. I’m going to leave it at that.

Just my opinion and I know I will catch flak but the constant talk about how much greater the Victorys are than any other bike does get pretty annoying after awhile.
You guys are on a Kawasaki forum and should expect a little ball bustin from the Kawasaki riders.
I know Dan does not ride a Victory but he was just praising his ride like you Vic riders were.
I rode my wifes Vic Boardwalk and the gawd awful clang bang when shifting into gear is a deal breaker for me.

OK, thanks first and foremost you guys. Don't forget, though, that us "gloaters" were, and some still are Nomad riders. Can't speak for anyone but me. I think of this more in the vein of sharing some exciting news with the family rather than gloating. If I wanted to gloat, I would talk about how much bigger mine is than yours. (of course, it isn't gloating if it's true) This is really more of a comparison having put more than a few miles on a Nomad under all kinds of circumstances, in all kinds of weather, and with many changes to the bike along the way. Nomad = great bike. Xct = better bike. My experience. I like the ST, but Net. I'm with you. It just don't fit. Hell, if I ever fully got on one I might never be able to get back off. And My Vic certainly won't do all that a svtpmjvd or whatever other bike you can name will do. But with +100lb/ft on the ground, a relaxed riding position, and lean angles about as far as you're going to go off the track, it will do all that I need. Enjoy your ride, you chose it. I for one am happy to hear someone else tell me about something I've never tried before. It tells me there are more options out there for me to explore till I find the one I like.

Are you kidding, I don't change the oil in the winter, to damn cold.
Change every fall.
