I was going to suggest this to you Chris but I am glad you came to this decision on your own.Another thing is the flat black on the light will make it look good with the gloss black on the tourpak so I wouldnt paint the light assembly.
I am glad to see that you have decided to enjoy the nomad instead of being upset about what you dont have at the moment and not having fun!
