Once she saw the Boardwalk and sat on it there was not another choice as far as she was concerned.

The bar change didn't change the looks and made it so she could reach them. After seeing the hardbags on the bike we are not going to use them as they changed the looks to much. Who the hell wants to ride without a windshield Bottom line, it is her bike and her money, if she wants to put a windshield, bags, ape hangers, a tourpack and paint it florescent orange it is OK with me as long as it makes her happy. She is very very happy with the way the bike looks and even happier with the way the bike handles But Victory parts suck.

Like I said, there are other choices to entertain and you don't know until you check them out.

Destroying that which makes me happy, makes my mommy gratifyingly mirth in nonstop hateful woman laughter.

She loves the bike, she is happy, all is well in my world. Except for the fact Victory does not know what parts fit what bike or they tell you they fit but then you have to buy adapters to make them fit. Victory parts suck!

In life as on this forum, if your going to give it out you better be able to take it. I think I have done both on here. Probably taken it more times than given it out.

One thing I've noticed is that Victory OEM accessories usually are way higher than HD parts.

It's all about supply and demand. If Victory sold as many bikes as Harley and they kept the same basic model for decades at a time (not that I necessarily think that's a bad thing), there would be zillions of aftermarket parts for them.

I agree that it's her bike so it should be what she wants. After all, she paid for it since you're retarded....er, I mean, retired. Victory parts don't suck any more than Indian parts or BMW parts or Ducati parts. If you get a mainstream bike, expect mainstream parts/prices. If you get a unique bike, expect "unique" parts/prices. That said, no matter the reason, I agree that Vic parts are expensive. Good thing there are plenty of aftermarket vendors. Probably not as many as you might think. We Victoryholics are a hardy bunch. We know that we have exclusive bikes which require exclusive parts.
