Sounds like pig roasts may be popular in Texas. ;)

I heard today that a feral hog caused an accident in southern Vt. last week. It ran across I-91 and was hit by a SUV and then another SUV, both were tall enough to not feel the total impact. The following nine cars weren't so lucky. Only one serious injury to the humans involved. But three cars were totalled. First I've heard of feral hogs in Vt. Watch out Ring, they are coming.

It's a conspiracy using wild pigs...

...since "killer-bees" didn't quite do it

I think Vermont is very close to New Hampster. I see Mac's Maple Cured Hams in the future.

I rank feral hog hogs worse that rats and roaches, only the pigs taste better.

They are just getting started in a few places in Michigan and the DNRE has posted flyer's in those areas to shoot them on sight. The land I hunt on is on the edge of one of the known areas and we will be keeping a close eye on their movements. One of the neighbors shot one this fall that went almost 400 lbs

One crossed the pipeline right of way while I was deer hunting a couple of weeks ago. It crossed about 700 yds from me. I thought it was a black bear until I dialed in my scope to 10.5X. Easily went 300 - 400 lbs.
