You may want to look in to PEX tubing for the water pipes that freeze. It expands to twice it's size so you don't get the pipe bursts. I replaced all of the copper in my house with it and SharkBite fittings a couple of years ago. The stuff is real easy to work with.

Thats a great idea, Thanks. Its still frozen today, I tried to thaw it. If I find any breaks in the pipe, I'll definately replave it with that stuff.

Got down to 20 here last night, and right now a 10:00 it's only 32* with wintry precipitation in the forecast tonight and tomorrow. I can't recall when the cold set in so early.

We need some more global warming and planet destroying up in here!

..Was 50 degree's (f) here yesterday morning (Sunday), When My Bikin Buddy, "Big Thunder", A fellow Old-School",commercial pilot, talked me into to a ride to Marysville,Ca...to the airport..where the Para-Wing, Powered Parachute, Ultralite folks, were going to --Recreate--

About 5 miles into the ride, my Big Assed Bike began a 1/4 mile of sputter-jerk-and go...suddenly smoothed out.. and ran like new the rest of the way (aprox 55 mile's out and back)

And I'v discovered..my "Fire & Steel" Driving Light's had "burned out" ! ... ?

So for the next few days..I'll be exploring the connection between my occasional, instant- die/re-ignite..while riding problem...and the now dead driving lights

The Powered Para-Chute Ultra lights...! ?? well being a bush-floats-agri-oil patch-predator control, pilot..I remain to be impressed ! But it was a beautiful day !, as it got up to about 65 degrees sunny -DEAD CALM !

Pex is cheap too compared to copper.
When I re-did my kitchen a few years back I removed the cast iron rad and used pex in the floor to create in floor heating works great.

The only expensive part are the SharkBite connectors. They run 7 - 10.00 a piece.

I use barb fittings and crimp clamps, much cheaper once you buy a crumper tool.

Good Morning; 30 and overcast, I hope the pipes in the garage thaw today, since its a little warmer. I have a real busy morning starting in an hour.

Had frozen pipes a couple of times, usually freeze at a coupling, joint
or a valve. A hair dryer works if you can find the ice.
