He is going to E3's next time as they are cheaper but is considering a car tire.
Are you sure you're talking about the Avon Cobra's and not the Venom's?

If the wear is as bad as you say on the cobra's I'll go to elite III's or the Darkside.

Avon cobra tires question

Seems a car tire would be better for mileage, but if anything could void the warranty that could if they are looking.

Mac is going to do the exhaust, TFI and intake for me. Before I decided to go that direction I talked to my local KAW dealer and he said he wouldn't have an issue with the warranty unless work done was directly related to the mechanical issues. The dealer wants the warranty work. (Makes sense to me).

As far as going to the darkside, I guess if they pressed engine or drivetrain problems covered under warranty, I guess they could say the tire effected those problems. MAYBE.

Avon cobra tires question

I just ordered a set of Cobras after finding a screw in my front tire yesterday. I believe the tires on it now are the originals, although I didn't buy it new so I can't be sure. If so, they have about 14,000 miles on them. I probably could have got another 1500 before replacing them, but the screw forced my hand.
