Congrats she is a very cute little girl and my wife will baby sit any time but it might take you a little while to pick up and drop off the baby sitter as we live in Mississippi.

Congratulations! She is beautiful. Mine is about to turn 21 shortly, and has been a blessing to have every day,they are are a lot of fun to watch growing up.

Excellent news!!! Congrats to you and Mom....
Mine like that is almost 17 now and she is a beautiful girl........hence my following advice....it goes by FAST...take in and remember each moment...cherish the times early on..when they become teenagers, they act like they don't need you once in a while (we know they really do, and so do they....they just have to act that way in front of their friends...hey, we did it too!).....she will always be your little girl.... Oh, my last piece of advise....get to work now on a little brother....mine are 17 months apart and the "little" brother watches out for big sis..and vice versa

Thanks everyone for your kind words. I'm spending the day with my girls, but I have to go back to school tomorrow :( , although I'm looking forward to showing her pictures off to my students and fellow teachers! Our first night at home went pretty well, better than I thought it would be. Your continued prayers are appreciated, as I feel like I don't know what I'm doing most of the time!

Congrats on the new addition to the family. Two thoughts here. First....life as you knew it just ceased to exist. Second, don't blink because she will be starting college in what seems like a week or two..... . Take it all in my friend....take it all in!

Congratulations, she's a doll.
Only pieces of advice I can think of that havent already been offered or I missed them are: There is no place on earth that is as comfortable as the one you're probably in at this moment- wrapped around that baby's little finger. Enjoy it. Sleep when she sleeps. Her sleep patterns will rule the roost for a while at least. When she eventually has one of those all night crying sessions and nothing seems to work to comfort her; just keep rocking and holding her close. I remember a couple of tag-team rocking sessions a couple of times while Sarah was small. Once I even said "I wish you could talk so you can tell me what's wrong so I can fix it". What I found out after she started talking though, was that once they start, they can't stop!! Spend every minute that you can with daddy's girl. |
