Anyone who's read all my posts on this knows that the TPS is a hit or miss proposition. I had resistors in every sensor and adjusted the TPS. I think (not positive) that bumping up the TPS also changes the timing too. This might be self-defeating and why the ping never subsided all the way. I couldn't eliminate the ping until I took everything off and put on a TFI. No ping on regular. Motor runs so much cooler (fan has yet to come on) I got tired of messin' with it.

Oh this was... 94-95? Wish I remember the exact area, but it was out in the country outside Elon.. north a ways. I worked for Freeway Foods managing Waffle Houses on Randleman Road (gang Country at the time) and another one next to a strip bar somewhere closer to town.

I will never... ever.. do that again. :) I can still do a scattered/smothered/covered tho.. LOL

Wouldn't mind taking a ride through that area in the summer....

Oh heck no. I try to stay away from your posts and todd's. There's something there I probably don't need to know about.. and my therapist agrees (gotta keep the voices down, ya know) ...

I did read them.. more than once (shhh..don't tell). Figured, "Free mod if it works, if not I get to learn about tearing into my bike. Win-Win".

Definitely looking at the TFI. My budget is not cooperating right now tho... :-/

Then Brother, You an I have probably met...not at the one on Randleman Road.....but I am guessing the other one was on HighPoint Rd. next to Chester's Gentlemen's Club..(err..so I have heard)....anyway...they tore the old one down there a couple years back and built a new Waffle House. Let me know if you plan to get this way again!

Highpoint.. yep! That was the other one. *shudder*

If you remember a really skinny, tall, blonde guy on the night-shift cooking and/or waiting tables, that was me.

That's eerie.. your wife's name wouldn't be Chris would it?
