Streetglides are pretty sweet, if the rattle don't do ya in...

I thought about one but I'm glad I didn't buy it, all I need is a fairing for my Nad!

I'll be interested in hearing what you think of the ride. I have some freinds that have Street Glides, they look small to me next to the Nomad.

Hi, I rode a buddies Harley in the U.K once. That finally convinced me I would never own one.
Always wanted to try one though. I think it was a 03 dyna glide or something like that. There wasnt one thing that I liked about it.

I would have to say that 70 degree riding for christmas would be gift enough. Who cares what the brand is. I would ride a moped right now if I could get 70 degree weather.

Sounds a little like "rent to buy."

Enjoy!

I agree with Meat; I have two friends with Street Glides. I think we have more room on our Nomads.
I sat on a 09 Electre Glide Classic in the dealer. Supposed to be a re-designed frame but I will wait for the magazines to bless it.
I still feel I have more room on the Nomad.
Please, post a report how you liked the Glide.

Any bike period, from a scooter to a trike gets you into the "Family". Enjoy your ride and be safe. I was raised around Harleys and do like them, but they just can't begin to compare to the "Bang-for-the-Buck" or the "Caliber" of bike that we all have and love!!! I might buy a Harley some day as a single seat poker run/ Noise maker second bike. ??? Even on an ULTRA GLIDE CLASSIC they just can't hold a candle to the Nad!!! I felt very cramped even on Harley's flagship dresser. Above all else you just can't beat the NOMAD!!!

They don't. They sell an image and a lifestyle (religion) to those who can't figure life out on thier own. And are fooled to think that they are buying American. But, in fact, all the H/D crap/advertising (Clothes, leathers, Barbies, salt shakers, etc. ) they buy is imported. I have yet to meet someone (non-publication) who did a comparison of all brands of motorcycles and chose H/D because it was the best motorcycle. I am sure there is one out there.

Sorry for the small rant. I have a good friend that has fallen into the H/D trap, and took his family with him. Now I have to deal with the " When ya gonna step up and buy a Harley?" All I say is " I have better things to spend my money on" Let him figure it out! ;)
