My driveway is gravel too, and except for leaving and ariving home, I avoid gravel all I possibly can.

Loose stuff on the pavement at traffic lights and stop signs worry me the most. More than once I've put my foot down at a stop only to have it want to slide out from underneath me. Not too bad when riding alone but scarry with the wife on the back.
