Opinions on Fuel Processors

I'm talking to Gary per PM right now on VR.com and he's working on one for the Nomad, should be available next month. Too late for you, but perhaps some other members here find it to be a good alternative to what's out there. It really helped the Boulevard with gas mileage and a bit of pep, depending on what mode you chose (gas mileage vs. power)

The "Bully Fuel Injection Controller", they only show for the 1500 classic and the 900 classic. Do they have it for the 1600 Nomad?

Or is this the Gary on VR.com you are talking about? Any idea when it would be ready?

I contacted Gman a few months ago and was told they'd have one available by "the end of summer" for the 1600 Nomad. But I'm Mr. Instant Gratification, and I didn't want to wait.

I have the TFI and love it but I never had a problem with pinging, with 2 up (before Bea fell off) and pulling a trailer and I think the wife had everything but the kitchen sink in it the bike pulled great but the gas mileage sucked before and after.

Hi, yes it is indeed Gary, I have done a lot of business with him and he told me that he is right now working on a Meanstreak but will tweak the same unit for the Nomad 1600. It's the exact same unit, just has to by dynoed for optimum performance settings. He was saying some time in September is a realistic time frame for it to be offered.

I still say it's the easiest and one of the best processors out there; no mapping, just pressing buttons to increase or decrease fuel supply and transition modes. Expect the package (together with KN Air Filter) to be around $315.

Cheers,
Carsten
