Power Plug Add-on

I have mine mounted on the windshield but would like to find a power source that turns on with the ignition.

Can someone tell me where I can find the wire that works off the ignition?

The installation on CJ's bike looks great for anyone interested. Very clean installation.

Thanks for noticing, Bud. I did a similar install on a buddy's 1500 Classic a few weeks ago. They aren't tough to do. Hardest part is running the wiring back to the battery area.

I have a pigtail comming out from under the left side of the seat that I hook the battery tender to. Would it be a bad idea to just use that to power something like a cigarette lighter (wire it to the other end so I can just plug it in as needed??

You could use that plug, but you should also make sure the power port or any other item is fused to protect it. Then it will be fine.

I just bought a Kuryakyn Power Port from my local HD shop. Got it for less than Dennis Kirk, Surprise! Like you I have a BatteryTender pigtail to the battery. That's where I'm plugging into. It'll be fulltime hot, but I can easially unplug if necessary.

Thats the one I have but the cap doesn't stay on right. I'm a little concerned about water getting in.
