PS. Texas has a state of the art warning system that alerts them to incoming northern riders. They order heavy rain and keep all Texan motorcycles off the road until the threat has left. :)
I was thinking the same thing. Great write up. Dave

Dank
Next time come to California where 99% the girls are blonde haired, blue eyed, and wear bikinis all day long...the rest are green eyed Red heads. The state is one big beach party 24/7! You can ride you bike year round cause it's ALWAYS sunny!

Yet another great mod for those "Out of Staters" that want to travel the Texas roads. Going rate.....$500.00 with a $10,000 deposit. Wipers for the toremental down pours, sweepers for the Texas gravel roads and umbrellas for the sunny days. And in case it snows, a custom snow plow with 4 settings. Enjoy!

I'm thinking he might not be such a good fit for Texas anyway. The guy (cry baby) in the video just might not be manly enough for Texas yet.

Cabby, I'll ride behind and slightly to the right of that bike :)

Dank, you should have come out to Vegas. We have had less than 1/2 " of rain since January. One of the driest Springs on record.

Well as you can see he is on the wrong bike. He shouldnt blame Texas for his lack of good judgement when he picked his bike. Thats a city bike.

LMAO......ah Dank.....loved the story. The problem is you were on I-30. That's the road we built just for Wolverines. Plus, you were in the eastern part of the state. When you stop seeing foliage, then you're in the sunshine with the best roads and all the Nomads!

Keep moving west. When you hit Abilene, turn south and ride through the Big Bend Region......there your panacea will be revealed.

Enjoyed the write up, Dank. Sorry you caught the wet weather. You are probably use to it and we hide from it.

If you get near Fort Worth on a Wednesday or Saturday, we will go on a ride with several more Nomads to some of the best food in Nirvana. Mcdonell at txwifi.com
