It won't be the little bit I made mention of, not with that NADA thang..... You need a meter to read battery volts at the battery. next you need to follow that (+) battery cable to the main fuse hidden in a black box behind and under the coolant over flow jug. Seek power there after you find the box and get it open. Test the terminals there too. A fast test there is to probe the (+) side twice at the same time. One digital meter probe on the battery (+) post and the other meter probe to each of the (+) terminals in the black box. The good reading is 0.000 a bad reading would be 0.02 This is testing the wire with dcv (direct current volts) for a high resistance (+) to (+). You can also check with a standard test in addition. That test would be black meter probe to the (-) battery and keep it there and test each connector starting with the battery to passing that black box looking for a drop in dcv. The testing time is used up in getting to these things, not the tests themselves which take a second. I didn't understand it was you! ![]()

If you have NO power to anything, check the main fuse, its tucked away behind the fuseblock in a rubber sleeve. It can be tricky to find but it is hiding in there.

Ring i assume you know there is 2 30 amp fuses. That one in plain sight pretty much and the other in a enclosed black box the start 'relay'.

At least the starter switch malfunction and diognosing distracted him from drinking all 35 cases in one sitting.

Ok Sly!
Just for the record, I would have given you a ride home if that would have happened on the group ride!

The switch can be repaired. Just take it apart, and clean it,and use some scotch brights to polish the contacts. Kawasaki wants you to buy the whole assy. 136.00 they will not sell just the switch. It is just like the horn switch, they are both easily repaired, just use a little common sense.
