Welcome Doug from another part of the great Lone Star State.

You'll find a ton of information on this site and smart people to help you out too.

Be prepared to start drilling on your mufflers.

Post some pictures when you get all that bling on the bike.

Welcome Doug from N E Missouri. We are a Nomad family. The wife has a new Red and Black 08 and mine is the 05 Black and Silver. You picked a great bike, I hope you get many miles of enjoyment out of it.

Refugio,

I thought I recognized your name from somewhere else. Ah yes, the BTK forum! Congrats on the new Nad. What color did you get? I'm sure you're going to love the bike. It's a great machine and the best value in its class, IMO.

Have fun with the mods and add-ons...
Best,
Daryl

Welcome Refugio from a fellow Texan. Ive had my Nomad a month. I just installed the cobra rack. The rack comes with the longer bolts you will need. Remove and replace one bolt at a time and its easy as can be. My inspection sticker was in the way so I had to make a few mods for that. Enjoy that Nomad and by the way, the baffelectomy makes it sound great.

Welcome from Vermont. Black is the fastest color, but we let the others ramble on because it makes them feel good. There is lots of bling to bolt on your new N'ad. These boys and girls will be glad to chime in on their thoughts as to the pros and cons of each one. First round is on you.
