Bafflectomy Performed

Not the the air filter box, the chrome air cover. BlownDodge did it on his so I thought i would give it a try

Bafflectomy Performed

So for those who have done the bafflectomy, does the bike need to be re tuned as the pressures have changed in the pipes?

The change is miniscule in reduced backpressure. I don't believe any of us did jack squat to fuel enhancements.

Yeah, "need" is a relative term.

The bike wont blow up or anything; but would some additional tuning make it run better? Definately, since the same is true even of a stock Nomad.

So you only "need" to re-tune it if you "need" it to run better. Lots of guys are fine with the stock (or near-stock) performance.
