I can't get my head around that whole "Pickers" thing. Looks like they visit a bunch of old hoarders, then pay too much for old rusty pieces of crap. Maybe they have a market....but I prefer watching Pawn Stars. Those guys really DO low-ball people. I love when the experts come in and tell what the stuff is worth, then the guys offer the seller less than half of that....haha. I'm amazed more people don't keep their stuff and just sell it on ebay, but I guess they need the money for the tables there in Vegas.... ;)

The market sets the price. If either party does not want to do the deal they have an option. This show epitimizes free trade!

I don't watch the shows often but do enjoy Pawn Stars, Storage Wars, and American Pickers. Breath of fresh air compared to the sitcoms.

The other show I love is American Restorations.....those dudes are something else.... :)!

How come on Storage Wars its always the same group of people bidding on the lockers? Something don't seem right with that.
